Over the past several years the Saints Memorial Weekend Classic has made Cedar Rapids the destination for some of the best softball over the Memorial Day weekend. This will be a quality girls fast pitch tournament with a 10 and under, 12 and under, and 14 and under division. Kirkwood Sports Complex and the C Street complex will again be the host sites in 2012. The 14U teams will play Saturday at Xavier High School. Local teams will possibly be in action Friday night May 25th, with all teams playing on Saturday and Sunday. Memorial Day, May 28th, will be used as a rain date if necessary. If your team is unavailable for play on Friday night, please indicate this on the entry form. This tournament will be a 5 game guarantee (weather permitting) with Sunday play featuring Championship and Consolation play.
The following format will be used for the tournament: · Five game guarantee (*weather permitting). · Pool play will establish positioning for bracket play on Sunday. · Entry fee is $250.00 plus two ASA optic yellow leather Dudley softballs (no synthetic softballs). (bring softballs at the time of your first game). · 16 team limit for 10U and 12U and 8 team limit for 14U so sign up early.

Prior to the tournament, you will receive a packet of information complete with rules, pool play assignments and directions to the venues. Our tournament site offers a full concession stand, merchandise, numerous pavilions, plenty of parking, shaded bleacher seating, and areas for warming up. We respectfully ask that no coolers be carried into the venues as full concessions will be available.
